Buccaneers Sign C Evan Dietrich-Smith

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they have signed former Packers C Evan Dietrich-Smith on Friday.

Ian Rapoport reports that Dietrich-Smith receives a four-year deal worth a total of $14.25 million.

Dietrich-Smith, 28, reportedly had interest from the Giants with the Packers also interested in keeping him, but the Buccaneers have done a great job of closing deals with free agents this offseason and they have now added a solid interior lineman to their roster.

This a tough loss for the Packer as they have now lost two centers in the past three years to free agency.

We had Dietrich-Smith at No. 45 in our 2014 Top 100 NFL Free Agents List.
