According to Greg Auman, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed LS Zach Triner to a futures contract for the 2019 season on Wednesday.
Triner, 27, originally signed on with the Jets to a futures contract as an undrafted free agent out of Assumption University in January of 2017.
The Jets elected to cut him loose over the offseason and he later caught on with the Packers’ practice squad. He re-signed with Green Bay to a futures deal but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason in September.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
