The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Monday that they’ve officially signed QB Sean Renfree to a reserve/future contract on Friday.
The Buccaneers have now signed 14 players to futures deals since their season ended. The full list includes:

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.
Renfree, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.206 million rookie contractย and setย to make a base salary ofย $675,000 for the 2016 season when the Falcons cut him loose.
He worked out for a number of teams during the season including the Patriots, Cowboys, Panthers, Bills, Giants, Broncos, and Saints.
In 2015, Renfree appeared in two games for the Falcons and completed three of seven pass attempts for 11 yards and an interception.
