According to Rick Stroud, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a one-year deal with RB Peyton Barber.
Barber was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason.
Barber, 25, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2016. He was released coming out of the preseason during his rookie year but was later added to the Buccaneers’ practice and eventually promoted to their active roster a few days later.
In 2018, Barber rushed 234 times for 871 yards (3.7 YPC) and five touchdowns. He also caught 20 passes for 92 yards and one touchdown.
