Buccaneers Sign WR John Hurst To PS, Release WR Isaac Whitney

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed WR John Hurst to their practice squad and released WR Isaac Whitney.

Hurst, 23, wound up going undrafted out of West Georgia back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Buccaneers.

Hurst was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury at the start of the regular season. Tampa Bay just recently activated him from the list before cutting him loose earlier in the week.
