According to Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com, Tampa Bay waived long snapper Patrick Scales on Wednesday.
Scales, 26, was signed to a future/reserve contract back in January. However, they signed Jeremy Cain to a contract a few weeks ago, so it appears as though they are prepared to move forward with him as their long snapper next season.
