Buccaneers Worked Out 4 Players Including CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste

According to Adam Caplan, the Buccaneers brought in five free agents for workouts on Tuesday including CB Stanley Jean-Baptise., LB Carl Bradford, LB Austin Calitro and CB Taurean Nixon.

The Colts brought in Jean-Baptise for a workout earlier this week but did not sign him to a contract.

Jean-Baptiste, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Saints back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Lions’ practice squad.

The Seahawks signed him towards the end of the 2015 season and brought him back on a future/reserve contract. However, Seattle declined to tender him a contract as a restricted free agent this past March.

The Chiefs later signed him to a contract a few months ago before cutting him loose in June. The Jaguars signed him to a contract a month later before waiving him coming out of the preseason.

In 2014, Jean-Baptiste appeared in four games for the Saints, but didn’t record a single statistic.
