The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DL Will Clarke to a contract and placed DL Channing Ward on waivers.
- NFL Draft Diamonds first reported that that the Buccaneers were bringing Clarke in for a workout on Tuesday.
Clarke, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2,820,380 contract and set to make a base salary of $700,000 when the Bengals elected to cut him loose this past weekend as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
In 2016, Clarke appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded 15 tackles, four sacks, and a pass defense.
