Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Buccaneers are working out veteran DLย Lamarr Houston.
Houston has worked out for the Saints and Patriots since being released but did not receive an offer from either team.
Houston,ย 30, is a former second-round pick of the Raiders back in 2010. After four years in Oakland, the Bears signed Houston to a five-year, $35 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed.
The Bears placed Houston on injured reserve during the preseason and recently released him with an injury settlement.
It is worth mentioning that Houston landed on the team’s injured reserve in 2014 and 2016 with ACL injuries.
In 2016, Houston recorded four tackles and no sacks for the Bears over the course of two games.
