Buffalo A Possible Landing Spot For Free Agent QB Michael Vick?

Adam Shefter of ESPN (Insider required) “would not be surprised” if the Buffalo Bills made another attempt to sign free-agent QB Michael Vick this offseason.

Shefter mentions that the Bills have “debated pursuing him in the past” and adds that Vick could be the “ideal quarterback to bring to camp to compete with EJ Manuel and Thad Lewis“.

While Manuel was a first-round pick in 2013, Shefter notes that both the quarterbacks on the Buffalo roster have “neither proved to be the answer just yet.”

Vick, 33, could push Manuel for the job in training camp while providing them with some more depth at quarterback. Vick has said that he would like to get another shot at competing for starting job next year, but at the very least, he would be a solid backup option who could also mentor for Manuel.

Other speculative options for Vick include the Jets, Raiders, Buccaneers, Texans, Vikings and possibly a return to the Eagles

We have Vick listed as the No. 34 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
