The Arizona Cardinals announced Friday that they’ve officially activated LS Aaron Brewer from injured reserve.
The Cardinals had a three-week window of time to add Brewer to their active roster and it appears as though he’ll take RB Adrian Peterson‘s roster spot.
Brewer, 27, originally signed on with the Broncos as an unrestricted free agent out of San Diego State back in 2012. He wound up spending four-years with Denver before being released last year.
After a few months with the Bears, the Cardinals signed him to a contract during the 2016 season. Unfortunately, Arizona placed Brewer on injured reserve this past October with a wrist injury.
In 2017, Brewer has appeared in five games and recorded two tackles for the Cardinals.
