Cardinals Interested In NC State QB Mike Glennon?

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen seems to think the Cardinals have their eye on North Carolina State QB Mike Glennon.

“I really believe the guy they’re hoping to get somewhere, whether it’s in the second round … is Mike Glennon,” said Mortensen while appearing on Tuesday’s NFL 32, via Rotoworld. “Their new head coach, Bruce Arians, likes big guys with big arms who can get the ball downfield.”

Arizona just signed Drew Stanton to a contract and parted ways with Kevin Kolb, so there’s a clear need at the quarterback position. Stanton is hardly a long-term option for them and there’s a good chance that Glennon could be available in the second-round of the upcoming draft.

Despite what’s considered to be a lackluster group of quarterback prospects, there figures to be plenty of speculation surrounding them in the next month.
