The Arizona Cardinals announced Saturday that they’ve activated DL Zach Allen from injured reserve and placed DL Josh Mauro and TE Darrell Daniels on injured reserve.
The Cardinals also promoted DL Stacy McGee, TE Evan Baylis, DL Michael Dogbe, RB D.J. Foster and CB Jace Whittaker to their active roster.
It’s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list in just three weeks.
Allen, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals out of Boston College back in 2019. He’s in the second year of his four-year rookie deal worth $4.3 million.
In 2020, Allen has appeared in seven games for the Cardinals and recorded 11 tackles and a sack.
