Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals are meeting with free agent CB Jerraud Powers on Wednesday.
The Giants hosted Powers for a visit a few weeks ago, but there hasn’t been any updates about him signing with New York since then.
Powers, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Colts back in 2009. He spent four years in Indianapolis before signing on with the Cardinals as an unrestricted free agent in 2013.
In 2015, Powers appeared in 13 games for the Cardinals and recorded 52 tackles, one sack, an interception, two fumble recoveries and nine pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 79 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.
