Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals’ brass is having dinner with Ohio State DE Nick Bosa Friday night in Florida.
Bosa could be in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick if the Cardinals decide to stick with Josh Rosen and pass on taking Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray.
Bosa likely wouldn’t have to wait long if the Cardinals pass on him, as many expect the 49ers to take him No. 2 overall.
Bosa, 21, is a consensus top-5 talent in this year’s draft class and arguably the best of a great group of pass rusher prospects. Last year, Bosa suffered a core muscle injury that has kept him sidelined and he decided it was best to not risk further injury and sat out the remainder of the season.
During his college career at Ohio State, Bosa recorded 77 tackles, 29 tackles for a loss, 17.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass defenses and a defensive touchdown over the course of three seasons and 29 games.
