The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve placed TE Troy Niklas on injured reserve and waived LS Kam Canaday.
Niklas, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2014. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $4,023,298 contract and set to make a base salary of $785,547 for the 2016 season.
In 2016, Niklas has appeared in three games and caught one pass for no yards.
