The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve placed WR A.J. Richardson (groin) on the practice squad injured list and released DL P.J. Johnson from the unit.

Richardson, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Boise State back in 2019. He later signed on with the Cardinals and was added to their practice squad last year.
Arizona brought Richardson back on a futures contract, but he was once again among the team’s roster cuts and added to the taxi squad.
During his college career at Boise State, Richardson caught 99 passes for 1,474 yards and 11 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 32 games.
