The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve promoted S Christian Bryant to their active roster and placed LT Jared Veldheer and TE Ifeanyi Momah on injured reserve.
- The Cardinals also re-signed G Taylor Boggs and added LB Zaviar Gooden and TE Brian Leonhardt to their practice squad and waived OT Martin Wallace.
Bryant, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie season but wound up being added to their practice squad.
St. Louis elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract following the season, but he was once again added to their practice squad following roster cuts. The Rams once again cut Bryant loose coming out of the preseason a few months ago and he later signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad close to a month ago.
In 2015, Bryant appeared in nine games and recorded three tackles.
