ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals have released veteran Kย Jay Feely as they work to get their roster down to 75 players.
Tom Pelissero reports that the Cardinals are also releasing veteranย OT Max Starks, and backupย QB Ryan Lindley.
Feely, 38, was reportedly on the roster bubble for a few weeks now as he was competing for a roster spot withย undrafted free agentย Chandler Catanzaro.ย Feely unfortunately missed a kick during Sunday night’s game, which may have sealed the deal.
Starks, 32, signed with the Cardinals just a few weeks, but it appears as though they prefer their other options at offensive tackle.
Last year, Starks signed on with the Chargers, butย was release before the start of the regular season. He later caught on with the Rams andย appeared in two games for them before he was once again released.
Lindley is a former sixth-round pick of the Cardinals, but he was squarely on the roster bubble after the drafted Logan Thomas earlier this year.
