Cardinals Release K Jay Feely, OT Max Starks, & QB Ryan Lindley

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals have released veteran K Jay Feely as they work to get their roster down to 75 players.

Tom Pelissero reports that the Cardinals are also releasing veteran OT Max Starks, and backup QB Ryan Lindley.

Feely, 38, was reportedly on the roster bubble for a few weeks now as he was competing for a roster spot with undrafted free agent Chandler Catanzaro. Feely unfortunately missed a kick during Sunday night’s game, which may have sealed the deal.

Starks, 32, signed with the Cardinals just a few weeks, but it appears as though they prefer their other options at offensive tackle.

Last year, Starks signed on with the Chargers, but was release before the start of the regular season. He later caught on with the Rams and appeared in two games for them before he was once again released.

Lindley is a former sixth-round pick of the Cardinals, but he was squarely on the roster bubble after the drafted Logan Thomas earlier this year.
