The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that they’ve signed second-round S Budda Baker to a four-year rookie contract.
According to OverTheCap.com, Baker will receiveย a four-year contract worth $6,829,970, which includes a signing bonus of $3,107,252.
Baker, 21, was selected with the No. 36 overall pick by the Cardinals after they elected to trade up with the Bears. In total, the Cardinals gave up second-, fourth-, and fifth-round picks in this year’s draft and a 2018 fourth-round pick for the right to select Baker.
During his three-year college career at Washington, Baker recorded 199 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four sacks, five interception, 18 pass defenses, and three forced fumbles in 39 games with the Huskies.
