Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals are signing veteran DL Roy Lopez to a two-year, $11.5 million contract on Monday.
According to Pelissero, the contract includes $7 million guaranteed.
Lopez, 28, was selected with the No. 195 overall pick in the sixth round by the Texans back in 2021. He signed a four-year, $3.7 million contract with Hoston but was waived at the start of the regular season in 2023.
The Cardinals signed Lopez to their practice squad before calling him up to their active soon after. He joined the Lions on a one-year contract for the 2026 season.
In 2025, Lopez appeared in 17 games for the Lions, recording 30 tackles, two sacks and a pass defense.
