Cardinals Waive QB Jake Coker From I.R. With Settlement

The Arizona Cardinals officially waived QB Jake Coker from injured reserve on Thursday.

Coker, 24, wound up wound up going undrafted out of Florida International back in May before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cardinals. He was set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season when he was waived with the injury designation earlier in the week.

After clearing waivers, McKinnon was later placed on injured reserve.

During his college career at Alabama, Coker threw for 3,513 yards while completing 66.6 percent of his passes to go along with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions over the course of 20 games.
