Chargers DE Joey Bosa Expected To Return For Week 11

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Chargers DE Joey Bosa is expected to return for Sunday’s game against the Broncos after sitting out the first weeks of the season with a foot injury.

Rapoport adds that Bosa’s snaps will be determined by how he’s feeling throughout the game.

Bosa has specifically been dealing with a bruised bone in his left foot. He actually suffered a different foot injury back on Aug. 7, which forced him to miss the entire the preseason, but unfortunately sustained the bone bruise injury to the same foot not long after.

Bosa, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $25.8 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

The Chargers have a fifth-year to pick up regarding Bosa next year.

In 2017, Bosa appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and recorded 70 tackles, 12.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, a recovery and a pass defense.
