Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune writes that the San Diego Chargers are prepared to fire head coach Norv Tuner even if A.J. Smith is retained as the teams GM.
No real surprise here as the Norv Turner era in San Diego has been filled with disappointment despite very high expectations for what many considered to be some of most talented teams in the NFL year-in and year-out.
Turner has been a great offensive coordinator throughout his time in the NFL and he should certainly have options available to do so if he’s released by the Chargers.
