Michael Gehlken of the Union-Tribune San Diego reports that the Chargers have agreed to terms with DT Mitch Unrein.
- Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported earlier in the day that Unrein was visiting with the Chargers on Wednesday.
Unrein, 27, signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2010. He lasted just a few months with the team before he was placed on waivers and later signed to the Broncos’ practice squad.
In 2014, Unrein appeared in eight games and recorded just a single tackle for the Broncos. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing just 46 total snaps last year.
