The Los Angeles Chargers officially waived OT Brant Weiss from injured reserve with a settlement on Saturday.
Weiss, 24, was signed by the Cardinals in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo. He was waived by Arizona during final roster cuts and sat out last year.
Weiss played this past spring for the Arizona Hotshots of the now-defunct before returning to the Cardinals this past April. Unfortunately, he was cut loose a month later and it took until June for him to land a deal with the Chargers.
Los Angeles later waived Weiss with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
Weiss has yet to appear in a regular season game.
