The San Diego Chargers announced Saturday that they have waived WR Vincent Brown with an injury settlement.
San Diego waived Brown last weekend as they worked to trim their roster down to 53 players. After he cleared waivers, the Chargers placed him on injured reserve, but they were expected to release him once healthy.
Brown, 25, is a former third-round pick and is entering the final season of his rookie contract. Last year, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and caught 41 passes for 472 yards receiving and one touchdown.
