Chargers Waive/Injured LB Mike Moore, Sign LB Kyle Coleman

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve waived LB Mike Moore with an injury designation and signed LB Kyle Coleman to a contract.

Should Moore pass through waivers unclaimed, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list on Wednesday.

Moore, 24, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in May. He’s currently in the first year of his three-year, $1.66 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the next two years.

During his college career at KSU, Moore recorded 140 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three recoveries and two pass defenses over the course of 28 games.
