Chiefs Worked Out Four TEs Including Clive Walford

According to Adam Caplan, the Chiefs brought in four free agent tight ends for workouts on Tuesday including Clive Walford, David Wells, Nick Keizer, and Jerrell Adams.

Of this group, the Chiefs signed Wells to their practice squad.

Walford, 26, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Raiders elected to place him on waivers back in April and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.

However, Walford lasted just a few months in New York, as he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Walford appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
