Chiefs Roster Cuts Including S Sanders Commings

The Kansas City Chiefs have begun the process of cutting their roster down to 53 players before today’s deadline.

Chiefs cuts include:

• TE Ryan Taylor
• OL Daniel Munyer
• WR Da’Ron Brown
• WR Fred Williams
• ILB James-Michael Johnson
• S Sanders Commings
• OL Garrett Frye
• RB Spencer Ware
• WR Da’Ron Brown

Comings, 25, was a fifth-round pick by the Chiefs back in 2013. Though he was believed to be a possible starter last offseason, Commings faced a large amount of injury complications since his rookie season. In fact, he landed on the injured reserve in 2014 and has only appeared in two games throughout his career.

In 2013, Commings appeared in two games for only one total tackle.
