Chiefs Sign CB Josh Hawkins To Practice Squad

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve signed CB Josh Hawkins to their practice squad.

Hawkins, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two seasons in Green Bay, but was among their final roster cuts this preseason.

Hawkins signed on with the Panthers practice squad shortly after and was eventually promoted to their active roster before recently being waived.

In 2018, Hawkins appeared in five games for the Chiefs, but has yet to record a statistic.
