Chiefs Sign DB Deveron Carr To Futures Deal

The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed DB Deveron Carr to a future/reserve contract on Thursday.

The Chiefs have now signed eight players future’s deals including:

  1. DB Deveron Carr
  2. DB Keith Lewis 
  3. WR Kenny Cook
  4. DE Dominique Davis
  5. LB Cameron Gordon
  6. DB Jordan Kovacs
  7. RB Trey Millard
  8. DT Alameda Ta’amu

Carr, 25, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Tampa Bay before he was cut loose at the start of the season.

Carr later caught on with the Colts as a free agent back in March of last year, but was once again among the team’s final roster cuts at the start of the regular season.

The Redskins would later sign him to their practice squad in October before releasing close to a month later.

He last appeared in an NFL game during the 2013 season while playing for the Buccaneers.
