Chiefs Sign QB Terrelle Pryor To A One-Year Deal

Albert Breer of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs have signed QB Terrelle Pryor to a one-year contract.

  • Pro Football Talk reported earlier in the day that the Chiefs were working out Pryor.

This is likely a future/reserve contract, which will give him an opportunity to complete for a job next summer.

Pryor has found a decent amount of interest a few months ago, as the EaglesGiants, Bengals and Buccaneers all brought him in for workouts, but he was unable to secure an opportunity with a team this season.

The Seahawks sent a 2014 seventh-round pick to the Raiders in return for Pryor back in April of last year, but he was unable to make the final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Pryor, 25, appeared in 11 games during the 2013 season and completed 57.4 percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
