The Kansas City Chiefs announced Thursday that they’ve signed second-round DL Breeland Speaks to a four-year rookie contract.

Speaks, 22, was taken with the No. 46 overall pick by the Chiefs in the second round of this year’s draft. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $6,110,516 contract that includes a $2,516,740 signing bonus.
During his three-year college career at Ole Miss, Speaks recorded 121 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, nine sacks, three pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
