Chiefs Sign TE Manasseh Garner, Waive RB Josh Caldwell

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday that they’ve signed TE Manasseh Garner to a contract and waived RB Josh Caldwell.

Garner, 27, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of 2015. Since then, he’s played for a number of teams including the Browns, Bills and Broncos.

The Redskins signed Garner to a contract in 2017. He, unfortunately, suffered a torn ACL last year and spent the season on injured reserve before being waived a few months ago.

During his college career, Garner caught 52 passes for 637 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of 39 games.
