Chiefs Waive TE Ross Travis

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve placed TE Ross Travis on waivers Monday.

Travis, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in May of last year. He stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the contract.

when the Broncos cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

In 2017, Travis has appeared in 11 games for the Chiefs and caught five passes for 43 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
