Chiefs Waive WR Felton Davis With Non-Football Injury Designation

The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived WR Felton Davis with a non-football injury designation on Friday.

This move creates a roster spot for DB Andrew Soroh, who agreed to re-sign with the Chiefs on Friday.

Davis, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Michigan State back in May of last year. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Chiefs.

However, the Cheifs later waived Davis with an injury designation and he reverted to their injured reserve list where he remained for the entire 2019 season.

During his college career at Michigan State, Davis caught 100 passes for 1,450 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 24 games. He also rushed for 80 yards on four carries and a touchdown.
