Chris Cooley To Retire, Join Redskins’ Radio Broadcasts

Mark Maske of the Washington Post reports that longtime Redskins TE Chris Cooley will retire from the NFL and will join the Washington Redskins’ radio broadcasts as an analyst this season.

Cooley, 31, spent nine seasons with the Redskins and tallied 429 catches for 4,711 yards and 33 touchdowns over that period of time.

Maske adds that his source also informed him that Cooley will not be replacing analyst Sam Huff and will instead provide periodic analysis during games.
