Colts Activate Malik Hooker & Clayton Geathers From PUP List

The Indianapolis Colts announced Thursday that they’ve officially activated safeties Malik Hooker and Clayton Geathers from the PUP list.

Hooker is working his way back from torn ACL and MCL in his knee, so it’s not surprising to hear he’ll open camp on the PUP list.

Hooker, 22, is a former first-round pick of the Colts back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $12.6 million contract that’s fully guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $1.03 million and $1.61 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Hooker appeared in seven games for the Colts and recorded 22 tackles, three interceptions, and four pass defenses before being placed on injured reserve.
