Charles Robinson refutes a previous reports that the Falcons were the front runner to sign OLB Brian Orakpo. According to Robinson, Atlanta isn’t even talking to Orakpo’s agent right now.
Robinson mentions that Colts, Cardinals, and Redskins are the teams to watch in regards to Orakpo right now.
Orakpo, 28, played out the 2014 season under the team’s franchise tag and is once again in line to be an unrestricted free agent. Last year, he made a salary of $11.455 million.
In 2014, Orakpo recorded 24 tackles, a half sack and a pass defense over the course of seven games. We have him listed as the No. 28 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
