The Indianapolis Colts have claimed DB Arthur Maulet off of waivers from the Saints on Monday, according to his agency.

Maulet, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
New Orleans eventually promoted Maulet to the active roster for Week 3 but he later returned to their practice squad. Maulet managed to make the 53-man roster this year before being waived this past weekend.
During his college career at Memphis, Maulet recorded 109 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of two seasons and 25 games.
