Colts DE Kemoko Turay Suffers Broken Ankle, Out For Season

According to Ian Rapoport, Colts DE Kemoko Turay suffered a broken ankle during Sunday night’s game that will end his 2019 season.

Indianapolis will likely place Turay on injured reserve soon, while the promising second-year defender will look to rehab and come back strong in 2020.

Turay, 24, was drafted by the Colts in the second round out of Rutgers in 2018. He signed a four-year, $5.2 million rookie deal and will make base salaries of $717,200 and $954,400 the next two seasons.

In 2019, Turay appeared in four games for the Colts and recorded five total tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
