The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve placed Cย Deyshawn Bond on injured reserve and signedย C Mike Person and G Kyle Kalis to their active roster.
- Theย Coltsย also signed TE Evan Baylis to the practice squad and placed TE Marcus Lucas on the Practice Squad Injured List.
The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- QB Phillip Walker
- NT Joey Mbu
- OT Tyreek Burwell (Exception)
- WR Devin Lucien (Injured)
- WR Cyril Grayson
- LB Joshua Perry
- TE Marcus Lucas (Injured)
- G Ian Silberman
- WR Matt Hazel
- DB Channing Stribling
- LB Darnell Sankey
- TE Evan Baylis
Bond suffered a torn quad during Week 4’s game against the Seahawks. He was filling for Ryan Kelly, whoย has been out since training camp, but was replaced by Adam Redmond after he went down with the injury just a few plays into the first quarter.
Bond, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in May. He stands set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.
In 2017, Bond appeared in four games for the Colts.
