Colts Place DE Carroll Phillips On IR, Promote CB D.J. Killings

The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DE Carroll Phillips on injured reserve and promoted CB D.J. Killings to their active roster.

• The Colts also signed DE Anthony Winbush to their practice squad and released OT De’Ondre Wesley from the unit.

Phillips, 26, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in 2017. He spent over a year in Jacksonville before he was waived this past September.

The Colts later signed Phillips to their practice squad before promoting him to their active roster a few weeks later.

In 2018, Phillips has appeared in six games for the Colts and recorded five tackles and no sacks.
