According to Joel Erickson, the Colts are promoting CB Tremon Smith from the practice squad to the active roster.

Indianapolis is also signing TE Hale Hentges to the practice squad, per Zak Keefer, as well as TE Ethan Wolf, per Aaron Wilson

The Colts will still need to make one more move to free up a spot on the practice squad. Indianapolis’ full practice squad currently includes:

  1. DB Andre Chachere
  2. DT Kameron Cline
  3. G Jake Eldrenkamp
  4. TE Farrod Green
  5. WR DeMichael Harris
  6. C Joey Hunt
  7. QB Chad Kelly
  8. T Carter O’Donnell
  9. DT Chris Williams
  10. DT Robert Windsor
  11. RB Darius Anderson
  12. TE Charlie Taumoepeau
  13. S Ibraheim Campbell
  14. K Matt Gay
  15. RB Darius Jackson
  16. TE Hale Hentges
  17. TE Ethan Wolf

Smith, 24, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2018. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million contract with Kansas City but was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Packers.

After being waived by the Packers he was signed to the Eagles’ practice squad. Philadelphia brought him back on a futures contract before waiving him earlier this year. He caught on with the Colts and signed to their practice squad after training camp.

In 2019, Smith has appeared in eight games for the Chiefs and Packers and recorded two tackles to go along with 303 kick return yards.
