Colts Re-Sign CB Darius Butler

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve reached an agreement with CB Darius Butler on a contract extension.

Butler, 28, is a former second round pick of the Patriots back in 2009. He spent the first two years of his career in New England before he was waived and later claimed by the Panthers at the start of the 2011 season.

The Colts signed Butler as a free agent in September of 2012.

In 2014, Butler appeared in 14 games for the Colts last season and recorded 46 tackles, two forced fumbles, a recovery and eight pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 67 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

We’ll have the contract details added as the news is available.
