The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve released QB Phillip Walker from their practice squad and signed DE Anthony Winbush and OT De’Ondre Wesley to the unit.
Here’s the Colts updated practice squad:
- WR Reece Fountain
- LB Ahmad Thomas
- WR Krishawn Hogan
- DB Rolan Milligan
- OT Tony Garcia
- WR Steve Ishmael
- CB Jalen Collins
- TE Je’Ron Hamm
- DE Anthony Winbush
- OT De’Ondre Wesley
Walker, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason but later added to the team’s practice squad.
Indianapolis brought Walker back on a futures contract this past January, but once again released him at the start of the regular season. He’s been on and off of their practice squad this year.
During his college career at Temple, Walker threw for 10,668 yards while completing 56.9 percent of his passes to go along with 74 touchdowns and 44 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 49 games. He also rushed for 771 yards and nine touchdowns.
