The Indianapolis Colts announced Sunday that they’ve signed four undrafted free agents who tried out for the team during their minicamp this weekend.
The full list includes:
- K Cole Hedlund, North Texas
- DT Sterling Shippy, Alcorn State
- CB Shakial Taylor, Kansas
- LB Tre Thomas, Colorado State
The Colts also waived K Clayton Hatfield, CB Chris Rayford and DE Anthony Winbush.
Winbush, 24, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in Atlanta before being waived coming out of the preseason.
Winbush was on and off of the Colts’ practice squad last year.
During his college career at Ball State, Winbush recorded 99 tackles, 25 sacks, eight forced fumbles, two recoveries and a pass defense over the course of four seasons and 39 games.
Thomas, 6-1, 221 pounds, wound up going undrafted out of Colorado State last week. Undrafted free agents are expected to sign three-year, $1.755 million contracts this year.
During his college career at CSU, Thomas recorded 215 tackles, 18.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, one interception, one defensive touchdown and a recovery over the course of four seasons and 46 games.
