Colts Sign Three Players To Practice Squad Including WR Matt Hazel & RB Troymaine Pope

The Indianapolis Colts officially signed three players including WR Matt Hazel, RB Troymaine Pope, and DB Channing Stribling to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:

1. QB Phillip Walker
2. NT Joey Mbu
3. OT Tyreek Burwell (Exception)
4. RB Matt Jones (Exception)
5. WR Devin Lucien (Injured)
6. WR Cyril Grayson
7. LB Joshua Perry
8. TE Marcus Lucas
9. WR Matt Hazel
10. RB Troymaine Pope
11. DB Channing Stribling

Hazel, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He lasted just over two years in Miami before he was waived at the start of last season and later signed to the Bills practice squad.

After a brief stint with the Redskins, Hazel was claimed off of waivers by the Colts. Hazel has been on and off of their roster in recent weeks.

In 2017, Hazel has appeared in two games and caught one pass for one yard and no touchdowns.
